NGP VAN / Bonterra
The dominant CRM platform for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations. Powers voter contact for thousands of campaigns. Maintains a global unsubscribe list that suppresses your address across all NGP VAN customers.

- 1Submit your email at the NGP VAN global unsubscribe form. - 2If you want to be removed from databases entirely (not just email suppression), contact NGP VAN support directly and ask them to delete your record from all associated databases.Important: this suppression list covers organizations running on NGP VAN. Campaigns that have already exported your data to other systems may not be covered.
- 1Reply STOP to any text message from an NGP VAN-powered campaign. You must do this separately for each different number that contacts you.
NGP VAN was acquired by Bonterra. The global suppression list should cover all Bonterra products.
ActBlue
The primary small-dollar fundraising platform for Democratic candidates and progressive nonprofits. When you donate through ActBlue, your contact info is shared with the recipient organization at the time of donation.

Democratic National Committee
The governing body of the Democratic Party. Manages its own national contact database.

DCCC
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, responsible for electing Democrats to the House.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, responsible for electing Democrats to the Senate.

A large progressive advocacy organization that runs email, text, and phone campaigns. Has a dedicated communications preferences page covering all contact channels.

WinRed
The official fundraising platform of the Republican Party, used by thousands of Republican campaigns. Does not maintain a global opt-out list — every campaign manages its own subscriber list independently.

- 1For each campaign email you receive, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom. Because there is no global opt-out, this must be done for every sender individually.
- 2See WinRed's help documentation for more detail:WinRed Help: How to Unsubscribe →WinRed confirms that texts and emails are sent by individual campaigns, not by WinRed itself. WinRed cannot remove you from a campaign's list on your behalf.
- 1Reply STOP to each text message you receive. You must do this separately for every different campaign number or shortcode.This can take several weeks to clear all senders if you're receiving texts from many campaigns.
WinRed's lack of a global opt-out is the biggest structural gap vs. the Democratic side. The per-sender requirement is confirmed by WinRed's own support documentation.
Republican National Committee
The governing body of the Republican Party. Maintains its own national contact database.

NRCC
The National Republican Congressional Committee, responsible for electing Republicans to the House.

- 2To request removal directly, email the NRCC at info@nrccvictory.com or call (888) 606-1023.The NRCC does not publish a web-based unsubscribe form. Email or phone is the direct route.

NRSC
The National Republican Senatorial Committee, responsible for electing Republicans to the Senate.

Trump / Save America PAC
The primary fundraising PAC associated with Donald Trump. Emails and texts are sent through multiple Trump-affiliated committees via the WinRed platform infrastructure.

- 1Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from Save America, Trump 47 Committee, or any Trump-affiliated organization. Each sender maintains its own list.Multiple users report continued emails after unsubscribing from Trump-affiliated senders. If unsubscribing doesn't work, try marking as spam to train your email client's filter.
- 2If you never provided your contact information and are receiving unsolicited emails, you can file a complaint with the FCC.FCC Consumer Complaint Center →
- 1Reply STOP to any text message from a Trump-affiliated sender. As with all WinRed-platform campaigns, there is no central opt-out — reply STOP to each number separately.
Trump-affiliated fundraising emails are sent through WinRed infrastructure. The per-sender WinRed opt-out applies. Reported opt-out reliability issues mean email filter training may be the most practical short-term solution.
Heritage Foundation
A prominent conservative think tank and advocacy organization. Sends policy and fundraising communications to supporters and people who have engaged with their events or publications.

CallHub
A phone and text banking platform used by campaigns on both sides for voter outreach and peer-to-peer texting.
- 1Reply STOP to any CallHub text message. Under TCPA rules, senders using autodialing must honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.The opt-out applies per campaign, not globally. You may need to reply STOP to multiple campaigns separately.
- 1Ask the caller to remove you from their call list. Each campaign using CallHub maintains its own do-not-call list.
Unknown Sender (Text)
For political text messages from unknown or unidentified senders.
- 1Reply STOP to the text message. Also accepted: QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE. Senders using autodialing technology must honor this under TCPA within 10 business days.TCPA covers automated political texts. Manually dialed calls have different rules. The Do Not Call Registry does not apply to political calls.

Data Brokers & Voter Files
If you're receiving contacts from many unknown organizations, your data may have been sold by data brokers or sourced from public voter registration files.

Voter registration data is public record in most states — this is often where unsolicited contacts originate. Check your state Secretary of State website for voter record privacy options.
